Iron-Gall Ink And Bleach

I was wondering just in case of "Check Washing". For 99,9 % of applications is more than enough with normal iron-gallic inks (Like water in the post, etc.)

Are there really still people out there using checks?

Amazing, I thought such ancient relicts aren't in use anymore, I didn't saw one the last 30 years.

I remember my parents talking about Eurocheque's when I was a child to get them as a safety backup when preparing a Yugoslavia holiday (at this time eastern bloc country).

I still use checks whenever dealing with the government. Several of my clients especially property managers have a lot of checks.

Means you can walk in to a bank, hand it over to the teller and they give you the money. No ID necessary, as the cheque is not addressed to anybody.

You may need to put your details on the back.

 

Doing it with a £1,000,000.00 cheque, though, may entail some further explanation on your part.

The only slight bit of explaining could be that I would hate to leave 3/4 of my funds still in that bank...!

So, the Noodlers Warden series are the ones with names that start with the word "Bad"? Can anybody say how these inks behave on crappy paper as far as feathering and bleed through are concerned?

The Bad Green Gator didn't work well for me on crappy paper. The BBM is a wonderful black (coming from a pen user who doesn't use black). BBKF and BBH are quite different in terms of behavior. I like them both. You probably want to read some of the reviews for these inks to get a better feel.
