Purple Ink Suitable For Highlighting

SeeksAdvice

Recommended Posts

Got a special request from some of our staff: They want a purple for highlighting that's similar in characteristics to Noodler's Dragon Pink. Man, that pink is eye searing.

I have thought of:

Mata Hari's Cordial

Pasternak

Socrates

Tchaikovsky

DeA Pearl Violet

Since highlighters are broader, fatter and less likely to clog, you might consider LRM or Periwinkle two colors that I otherwise would not suggest.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

If you dilute NAV or Concord Grape you'd also have retinal searing colors.

I use Private Reserve Purple Haze in a highlighter.

If you want something brighter, you might consider diluted PR DC Super Violet or PR Purple Mojo.
