Custom Lever Fill Fp - Prototype

Here's my first go at making a lever fill fountain pen. I have a customer that has commissioned me to make him one. Since I had never tried one before I told him I had to do some prototyping first! This is my first try at it. I must say I'm very proud of it! It sure was a pain to make though! I have many many hours handfitting the lever box and relief opening.

Wow, awesome job! This is one of those projects that I've had on my list for a very long time, but that whole "hours hand fitting" thing always steered me towards other things . I can only imagine how much frustration, but what a payoff!

Wow, Jonathon! Nice work! That lever box installation came out great! Love the new blank, too. Thanks for the dimensions, but you really got my attention with the nib threads. What the heck are you using? That Bock looks familiar, but I can't place it.

Thanks Lyle! It is frustrating. I won't lie about that, but the payoff is well worth it! I've been enjoying this beauty all weekend. Draws ink like a champ and no leaks.

Thanks Robert! The lever box had me sweating for sure. That blank has drawn a lot of attention really fast. It might a winner for sure . LoL...that's not a Bock nib....Still German, but more avian than Capra ibex You can just see the make in the last pic.
