Twsbi Diamond 580 Black Rosegold Fountain Pen

Like many people on this thread, I had serious problems with my TWSBI Black and Rose Gold. I ordered one from Cult Pens as soon as they became available in the UK because it is such a gorgeous pen.

Unfortunately it was a hard starter from the beginning but I persevered with it. Then, after 6 months of only occasional use, the gold plating began flaking off the nib. I contacted Cult Pens and they were very good about it and refunded me my money. I was very disappointed but I suppose I'll just have to stick with my regular TWSBI 580s.

I am thinking of buying a 580 rose gold. But now, after reading about the problems I will reconsider.....

I also reconsidered and bought a clear TWSBI 580 instead. It seemed to be the better choice, especially when the nib was going to get ground (hence some of the plating would be ground off, making the nib gold plating more prone to flaking off)

Can't wait for it to arrive!
