'The Yo-Yo maneuver is very difficult to explain. It was first perfected by the well-known Chinese fighter pilot Yo-Yo Noritake. He also found it difficult to explain, being quite devoid of English.

So we left it at that. He showed us the maneuver after a sort. B*****d stole my kill.'

Don't have a 1000 never will, it's too big for me.

A 500 or a sea-green '50's, or a '30's tortoise. all can be had for less than a new 1000.

If you like big pens....you are stuck with the 1000, the ones I recommended are standard sized. ...Long enough if posted, just not thick.

I only have the 500.

In reference to P. T. Barnum; to advise for free is foolish, ........busybodies are ill liked by both factions.

Ransom Bucket cost me many of my pictures taken by a poor camera that was finally tossed. Luckily, the Chicken Scratch pictures also vanished.

What do you like about the Pelikan M-1000 ?

Auf freiem Grund mit freiem Volke stehn.
Zum Augenblicke dürft ich sagen:
Verweile doch, du bist so schön !

I think a 100 or 400 / 400NN would be a good choice. If size matters the 400NN is the biggest of the three though not a big pen. I'm not a fan of the 1000 though (way too unwieldy for my small hands) and I am not aware of any other oversize Pelikans. Vintage MBs get larger as do Soenneckens.

Edit: didn't realize how old this thread was.

Well -- thankfully, there are many from which to choose! What do you like? Is a particular size important or suit you best? What about nibs? What about colors?
