Resource For Replacement Vac Filler Ball Cup?

I had found a site that sold the Vac filler ball cup replacements but I can't remember the site to save my hide. Anyone know of a web site selling these? And info is appreciated.

I am going to presume you're talking about the Parker Vacumatic filler units...

 

The person who makes or sells the freshly-made repros goes under the eBay ID of jaxxon8o1h, and has also sold them in the classified section here at FPN (don't know the user ID here). Don't think there are any available in either location at this time.

There is someone on one of the pen forums that's does sell just the cup, but IIRC they where quite expensive for what they where. Something like $10 each compared to about $25 for a complete vac unit.

 

I would be tempted to fabricate something myself out of black plastic tube. Don't forget that the lockdown fillers didn't even have a cup, the diaphragm ball just pushed into the end of the metal plunger, so it's not going to be rocket science to make something suitable and long lasting.

This thread provided me help on a repair a while back... Quite an effective option, IMHO, if you're looking for a replacement cup for minimal investment. I know it can be frowned upon by some, though.
