I love this… this is great!

Thank you! The price of antiques has been going DOWN in Las Vegas so pieces like this, though hard to find are becoming exceptionally affordable.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Of course I am!

Here's my current ink stash.

You don't have nearly enough inks. There's space along the bottom shelf for a whole 'nuther row of bottles. I suggest the Wancher inks for starters.

As turquoise inks go, I'm more partial to Pelikan than to at least the current Sheaffer. (And don't get me started about that bad run of Sheaffer blue, that turned out a dirty shade of weak, grayish cyan!)

It only looks like it. I'd have to do something with my Akkerman bottles... I think I need another box where I stacked four rows.

Sailor Jentle Inks are all lively and well behaved. This serie was designed in such way any two inks look very good paired together. They are all harmonized and have a sheen when lit at an steep angle.

Most of my personal notes are taken in Sailor Epinard (green) with annotations in Sailor Abricot (orange).

I love the way the green ink (épinard) is made more vibrant when accompanied with orange (abricot) accents, here and there. The contrast is very pleasant.

However, I wouldn't recommend you the buy abricot alone (or pêche which the complement of grenade). The colour is too light to be used in full texts. Instead, take a look at ultramarine, épinard or the greyish blue called blue black.

The regular blue (a lot darker than sky-high) and Noodler's Black are probably the inks I use the most for "business". The blue has a red sheen.

I notice you appear to have sealed the cap of the Parker Penman bottle?

It arrived that way from the very nice FPNer who sent it to me. I've been using up my samples before breaking in to the bottle of Emerald.
