I am waiting for the Pilot metropolitan Leopard and hoping to find a Pilot 78g in blue.

So many pens. So little time.

After picking up so many of my "list" pens plus extras at the Dallas Pen Show, for once my list is pretty much empty... well except for the Visconti Pininfarina and that ain't happening any time soon!

PELIKAN - Too many birds in the flock to count. My pen chest has proven to be a most fertile breeding ground.

Two complete opposites on my wish list at the moment...

On the one hand:

- Pelikan M1000 green striated F nib

And then on the other, one of the following:

- Lamy Safari charcoal black with either 1.5mm or 1.9mm

- TWSBI 580 with 1.5mm

- Italic Parson's Essential 1.3mm

My wishlist keeps getting longer and longer..

I hate that to be honest. I would like to have a small collection of pens so that they can get used and loved equally, but this forum is always luring me to buy more.

So for now I have my eyes on these pens (in random order)

Pilot Decimo (any color)

Monteverde Invincia (probably the rosegold)
TWSBI mini and mini vac
Pilot Prera (i already have one, but I would like to have more of them)
Pilot Metropolitan (same as above, waiting for that white tiger pattern)
Pelikan M2XX
Faber Castell e-Motion (already have the black parquet, would like the ivory and brown too in different nib sizes)
ST Dupont Fidelio (discontinued model but I really like it, and I would like to try more nib sizes)
Rosetta Napoleon (particularly the purple or blue one)
Some Sailor (probably the Sapporo, but not really sure. I would like to compare Sailor nibs to Pilot ones)

Parker Esprit (already have the Rotring Esprit in grey, I like the metallic red and blue versions)
Some chinese pens with interesting features ( the 360degrees Hero with that peculiar nib, the lanbitou pocket rocket and 3009, a P51 clone etc)

And then we have rollerballs, ballpoints and pencils

Montblanc Starwalker MP (to match my BP)
Pentel Kerry MP (can't pick wich one)

Fisher Space Bullet (will go well with the pocket rocket)
Waterman Hemisphere Rollerball

These are the first tha came to my mind. If I think harder, I will probably add more of them.. Oh, well...

I wish to find a couple grand in my pocket so I could indulge in my pen fantasies fully. Nakaya decapod, striped-jewel blue (or green!) Vacumatic, Red Ripple Waterman 52 with a wet noodle nib . . . um, I might have already spent my mythical wish money and then some. And I haven't even finished my list, wait . . .

Actually I am quite happy with my more modest but charming-to-me pens. They give me pleasure every day.

Lots I'd like to try out of pure curiosity (and this thread has added half a dozen more!), but the only one definitely on the wish list is the Edison Collier Persimmon Swirl. Oh, and the new FPR one when it comes out - that wish is the one more likely to be realised.

Cheers, Al
