It was truly a pleasurable experience to have the pen in my possession, even for a short length of time.

Thank you! Glad you've enjoyed the photos. I, too, like the blue and rose gold combination as the colors complement each other particularly well. The pen definitely falls into the weightier category at 2.15 ounces, but as I mentioned, I was comfortable using it for extended periods of time.

Thanks a lot for the review and because of it I've got the chance to get this beautiful pen. I've just got a Amerigo Vespucci from Stipula today. Same mechanism with titanium nib. Mine is a wooden layout pen, it is because of the craftsmanship that I decide to purchase another.

I have got the "basic" black model with a 1.1 nib. Am very pleased with this pen, which for me is far better than a VP. Having got the basic version it makes me appreciate this Samurai all the more..
