Valid question!

Not in regular rotation, but it is a special privilege to use them at times. It would be a travesty for these artworks to remain hidden in boxes.

Thanks - glad you enjoy them to the max!

A plus 1 from mr on the request to see what other pens you have in your collection :)

It's a beautiful pen. I usually hate helmet caps, but this one works for me. How is its weight in the hand? I imagine the balance is good, but you can't balance out mass.

Right now I'm watching a Saif Ali Khan movie and last night it was Shah Rukh Khan. (So I guess it's a theme weekend.) I can't wait to see what MB comes up with for their pens, not to mention for Salman, Irfan, Imran... (Our second feature, is the newest Star Trek film, a redo of the Wrath of You Know Who.)

The liberty of the press is indeed essential to the nature of a free state; but this consists in laying no previous restraints upon publications, and not in freedom from censure for criminal matter when published. Every freeman has an undoubted right to lay what sentiments he pleases before the public; to forbid this, is to destroy the freedom of the press; but if he publishes what is improper, mischievous or illegal, he must take the consequence of his own temerity. I think I am the one who post the first poor quality picture. I am sorry for that. But I am glad many FPNers like this oriental culture artwork. Congratulations.

Libran88 is right mjchuang9, nothing at all wrong with your picture. Yours was a welcome entrée without which many of us would have been oblivious to the Khan :) Rocksypder's pictures show the pen in such a way as perhaps only a new, proud owner can, capturing the pen in all its magnificence....and it is truly magnificent. :puddle:

So I see that a Genghis Khan is up on eBay for $51k, what what the price for one of these bad boys when they were released per chance? Just curious how much they've appreciated.

when I saw the title I immediately thought of william shatner and star trek theme'd pen

'The Yo-Yo maneuver is very difficult to explain. It was first perfected by the well-known Chinese fighter pilot Yo-Yo Noritake. He also found it difficult to explain, being quite devoid of English.

So we left it at that. He showed us the maneuver after a sort. B*****d stole my kill.'

Sorry to raise a dissenting voice here, but I think that pen is rather ostentatious. I appreciate the workmanship but the aesthetic overwhelms my minimalist tastes.

Don't worry - we've already been called "swine" by the OP who called the pen a "pearl"

but you know - sometimes an ugly pen is just an ugly pen.

It's all down to market share. The montegrappa is still for people with no taste and less money.
