Hemingway And 139

The Hemingway's prices remain always on the high side from 2900 to 3200€ sometimes a little bit more

 

I don't think so... I see lot of auctions all under 2.000 euro in Europe, like this:

When Georges Zaslavsky speaks about a range from 2900 to 3200 € the pens are NOS; the pen sold by erfobay at € 1885 is used.

yours looks to have metal made one.

both are telescopic i guess.

I'm glad I stumbled upon this thread again. I never tire of seeing photos of the 139 or Hemingway.

 

Wouldn't it be wonderful if MB produced a permanent commemorative line inspired by the old flat tops and bow-tie clips? I can dream.…

I'm the complete opposite. I find the Hemingway to be the dullest pen in my collection. If it were not for the fact that I needed it to complete my collection I would never have bought it.

 

I know though that I am in the minority with these thoughts though, but to me things improve over time and I don't like living in the past and rarely buy into nostalgia.

It sold fairly quickly - but no I don't remember. I know my friend is kicking himself for not getting it.
