There are times when I think the plastic is somehow porous and absorbs some of the ink. I used Bethge #4 ink, which is made by J. Herbin, and the section became tinted with the ink color. I soaked the section in water for a couple of days and it helped, but some of the ink is still on the section near the nib.

it is a guenine waterman item

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time
