Diamine Deep Dark Brown Compared

Unfortunately I do not have very many brown [1] inks. However, I hope this little contribution will still be valuable to some of you.

For those of you who can't easily get the UK exclusive Deep Dark Brown ink: you may find Diamine Macassar a reasonable substitute.

[1] I bulk-buy inks. How come I don't have many browns!?

Nice comparisons and I'll stick with my one-off - DDB! I might have lied when I said I didn't have any others because I do have R&K Sepia but I think that is a dark grey-brown and isn't really suitable for comparisons due to the confusion with the name that some people might have.

I agree. Like Sandy1 in the review I linked, I am not really convinced about Macassar for business use, but I would have no hesitation in using Deep Dark Brown.

I prefer Chocolate Brown for personal correspondence, though. And I always have Cacao du Bresil inked up, but that is a very different ink.
