This ink goes down a little lighter purple, and dries a little grayer. On some papers, it looks like a gray-purple. It's a pretty and unusual color. A fairly unique color. It's got good flow and water resistance. No feathering.

It's on my list to get a bottle. Not the top of the list, but I like it.

I think I'll stick to R&K Scabiosa for this colour in terms of water resistance. Diamine Amazing Amethyst for the colour. And both for the cost of obtaining them in the UK.

Probably one of the first Noodler's inks I ever bought (likely back in 2007). A longtime favorite!!!

Looks similar to Diamine Damson. Any clue as to how close they really are?

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

Wow, for a newbie to FPN, you've been doing a lot of reviews. Thank you!

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).
