Unpacking My New Pen

Recommended Posts

Great excitement this morning when the postman brought my new pen.

It's a good job the Goulet Pen Company pack exceedingly well, as it obviously had a rough journey!

I think the 1.5 nib many be a little wide for everyday use, so I may get a 1.1 at some stage.

Somehow it slipped through the HM Customs net, and was delivered straight to me without customs charges. :bunny01:

It looks really vibrant and reminds me of barley sugar sticks when I was a kid.

I love the colors of your bright new pen.
They remind me of a forest glen,

where sunlight dances on the autumn trees,

to illuminate the beauty of the turning leaves.

The matching ink - a perfect choice
to give this pen its proper voice.

Your words will shine with fire and light
in every sentence that you write.

I have heard some terrible stories about the cost of shipping to UK from US. Do you feel yours were reasonable or out this world.

Well, that is a nice pen ! And you found yourself the perfect matching ink. Enjoy writing with it! (and without the customs charges, you can buy yourself another bottle of ink ;) )

Edwaroth. the shipping charge was $20. I was a bit annoyed with myself as I found out after ordering the pen that I could have got it in the UK with free shipping!!!!! Didn't do my research well enough! :crybaby:

Beethoven. Great poem - thank you.

DavidDecorator. The pen is an Edison Collier and the colour is called Persimmon Swirl. The ink is Iroshizuku Fuyu-gaki.
