Do you know how it would compare to something like Liberty's Elysium? Because to my eye the color seems similar to that.

I agree, however the dry times also shocked me. I am sorry I don't have access to Liberty's Elysium in the UK. We really do need some Noodlers inks here in addition to the paltry offerings currently available (usually out of stock...).

I 'think' there is a silvery sheen........ I am in search of it and as soon as I find it, I shall return! Although, should we be search SO hard for a sheen? I have never thrown so many angles whilst writing a letter/ note/ memo than I have when doing reviews. Surely it is unnatural?

Quite unnatural....to the point where it's become natural for me. I admit it, I'm a sheen junkie. I think it's a remnant of my past, where I lusted after metallic gel pens and their sparkly ink. My inner child still considers sheen to be the ultimate definition of "magic" in an ink.

 

This strange obsession has overturned my ink collection into a concentration of Sailor/Iroshizuku/Diamine Music set inks. (Thank goodness Amazon sells Iroshizuku at livable prices...) I even sold off Noodler's BSIAR and Apache Sunset because they weren't "shiny" enough. ^___^;;
