Wow, I can't believe I missed this discussion. I definitely support the burgundy color, although purple is another favorite of mine.

Peter, can I ask a general question about the Parson's? I recently noticed the small screw on the inside of the cap, what does the screw do? I'm not adventurous enough to loosen it without knowing that I won't cripple my pen.

Please do not loosen it, it holds the pocket clip assembly, if you undo it you are likely to wreck the cap. MrPen

We have just added as of the 3rd of October, Extra Broad to the nib options on the Parson's Essential. It has a nib width of 1.75 mm.

Do you have any idea when the new colours will become available?

You know Stephen Brown will be happy to hear that.

are these colors going to be available in a 3pack?

Mr. Ford, I echo this question - Will we be able to choose our own colors for the Three-Pack? Say "Yes" and you'll make me (and probably everyone else) very happy! :D

Franklin-Christoph, Italix, and Pilot pens are the best!
Iroshizuku, Diamine, and Waterman inks are my favorites!

Apica, Rhodia, and Clairefontaine make great paper!

This is great news. Could this nib work with the Captain's Commission?

Very happy for people to mix colours but may not do it as an internet sale, if the selection offered is too intricate it makes for customer confusion. Suggest FPN potential customers reading this should simply email their requirement, when the pens are available and we will issue a PayPal invoice for them to pay with their debit or credit card or their PayPal account if they have one. UK customers can telephone their orders if they prefer. You can also use our online 'Help' button on the website.

Those look great! Would it be possible to get a bigger picture, Mr. Ford? The marbling in the design is rather hard to see is why I ask.

Incidentally, here is the picture of the new pens, for everyone to check out:

That Burgundy looks really nice. I'd like a higher resolution image in order to see the pen's marbling, but I think I'm already putting this on my Christmas list.

Beautiful colors. Forget x-mas, I'm putting these on my thanksgiving list.

Heck, I'm putting these on my Christmas list not only for myself, but also as gifts! Now though I have to figure out a way to get at LEAST 2 colors, the amber and the burgundy- but hopefully a way to get all 5! ^_~

What a great idea - it's not just about many pens but also about many colors.

Kinda like that biblical tale about Joseph and his pen of many colors, no?
