Enjoying my newfound appreciation of the Parker VS (Kullock style, I believe)

I have just the gold (NOS) VS cap. Looking for the barrel + nib section to complete the pen.

Edited to add:

The NOS VS cap came with a P51 aero pen that has now the correct 51 cap.

This week I am using my Parker Sonnet, black lacquer with a fine, rhodium coated 18 ct nib, filled with Shearer Skrip blue. The pen is accompanied by the matching Sonnet pencil. This sliding sleeve, 0.5 mm pencil is one of the nicest pencils out there, and the nib from John Montishaw at Classic Pens is perhaps the smoothest I own. I think I would use this set more were I not worried that something would happen to it. It is perhaps the nicest set I have.

1. Parker Premier Black Edition with black Quink, which I use permanently;

2. Parker Urban London Black Cab with Waterman Harmonious Green ink, which I use for manuscript peer-reviews;

3. Parker 51 black with Waterman Blue ink, for testing ink;

4. Parker Vector steel with Pelikan 4001 Brilliant Black ink, for testing ink.

An azure blue pearl Vacumatic Major with a perfectly smooth fine nib that I bought from Sarj Minhas at the DC show last summer. This is one of those pens that makes writing effortless and produces a beautiful line. I have it inked with Waterman Serenity Blue.

Rationalizing pen and ink purchases since 1967.

Old Sonnets with new steel nibs; the one in front in particular writes like a dream with Verdigris.

A new acquisition; an original Duofold Black and Pearl.

The typical slightly springy but stubbish nib. Color not too bad and the clip ball is brassed, but a nice writer if a bit wet. All in all, a pretty nice piece of functional history. Hope I am as functional when I am so close to 90 years old.

Happy New Year! I am starting 2017 off with a black aero Parker 51, filled with Noodler's Dark Matter, along with a matching P51 twist advance pencil. It is not an original set; the pen and pencil were acquired separately, and I believe the pencil is older. But they look nice together and both write very well.

I have to respond because I just go my father's Parker 51 Fighter Aeromatic back up and working. So I am using that 😄. It is my first Parker and I'm in love!

Can't say what Parker or better yet what pens I am using. Too many pens inked. And it is always like this.

At least ten of these are parkers. These were all lying scattered on the empty side of my big bed. I collected them now to take a picture of them. And there are others inked that are either lying on my desk or clipped to my shirt pockets. I am lost in pens...

I recently acquired this Parker 100 set for a decent price. I have to say I am very impressed by the quality of these pens.

Technically I am not using it as I don't have any proprietary Parker cartridges to hand, nor did the pen come with a converter. I understand I need the "deluxe" converter which can be easily be acquired (if anyone can confirm that would be appreciated :) )

The modern Parker deluxe as well the vintage Parker squeeze converter will fit the pen.

Congrats on acquisition of the pen.
