This duofold centennial.

I had some problems with converter (ink sticking to the converter wall), i had another parker converter which had a thingy in it to ensure free ink flow, i put that in the centennial converter, and now it works like it should.

Using this plain Frontier, with medium nib, which I bought new in 2008.

Mike, is it by chance that I have just inked a UK Frontier second quarter, 2008 (E.II datecode) and immediately after when I log in I see your post. By the way mine is a flighter CT.

One way to keep a couple of Sonnets wet and writing, day after day.

Blue Ice and Firedance, fine nibs.

Hi mitto, It must be chance, but I think the Frontier is a very reliable smooth writer, very much the same design as the Sonnet.

I have tried swapping the nibs between the Frontier and Sonnet, they fit well, but the feeds are different.

My Frontier is the most basic version, plastic barrel, steel nib and CT, and it does feel a little lightweight in use, but it has such a good nib, I like to try out various inks in it from time to time.

Parker Vacumatic Junior Red Shadow Wave, F (?) nib, and its usual diet of Waterman Mysterious Blue.

Parker 51 Aerometic Demi Plum, M-ish nib, with (dilute) vintage Quink Microfilm Black.

Also known as two of my favorite pens....

Always enjoyed this 'Urban' in London Cab black, tried a Quink washable blue cartridge, but it's writes too pale for me, so I added 50% Cross black ink to it, which makes it far more useable.

Today it was a P61 day for me. P61 capilliary insignia and C/C insignia. Inked with Quink black and Pelikan 4001 black respectively.

Beside the difference in the barrel and connector threads, the C/C has metal jewels while the capilliary has grey plastic jewels.

Parker 180, French made, with Fine/Broad nib, beautiful graindorge finish. Use Blue Lamy in as it is very smooth to me.

Pen never seems to dry out, even if I go away for a couple of weeks it will work perfectly straight away.

Hi, Trying out a '45' on this Oxford Brands Optik 90g paper, very smooth, could be the best F.P. suitable paper I have.
