Today it was the Plummer (Parker 51 Demi Aero Plum), and the Vac Junior Green Shadow Wave Speedline filler.

Tomorrow I'm thinking the Cedar Blue 51 Vac with the EF nib. And maybe the Red Shadow Wave Vac Junior, which is a lockdown filler.

Parker UK duo fold maxima aerometric with the most beautifully smooth medium nib I have ever written with! Combined with Sailor Jentle Souten it is absolute heaven! Of course, the fact that I found it at a garage sale for $5 US and all I had to do was flush it out makes it quite possibly the best "value per dollar" I have ever spent!

The pen is always mightier than the sword... Unless you are in a sword fight, then the sword may be the better option.

It was truly a once in a lifetime find! I tried telling him that it was worth more, but he didn't want to hear it. So I will keep it inked up and write with it often, and be happy with my find.

I found mine in the wild for around $50 and I was thinking I was lucky. And mine is not in very good shape. And here you find it for only 5 bucks. Lucky you!

A Falcon with an italic nib ground by Ron Zorn, inked with Akkerman's Parkpop Purpur (#14); a grey P-51 inked with Noodler's Liberty's Elysium; and an English-made aerometric Duofold inked with J Herbin's Éclat de Saphir. Below is a pic of the Duofold and the P50 Falcon.

I am actually looking for another one to make it a match set so I can use the, in rotation wen I go to university this fall. I would definitely expect to pay much for the next one, though. This one was truly a once in a lifetime occurrence!

northstar, you always do such lovely artwork!

Sort of slept in today (recovering from the trip back from the far side of Indianapolis yesterday). So today it's been the red Vector, F nib, and Akkerman Shocking Blue. But yesterday one of the pens I used was the Vac Red Shadow Wave (sporting its usual Waterman Mysterious Blue), filling out a donation form in order to get a receipt for tax records for the sideline business. We ended up having over-bought stuff, and the local food pantry couldn't take some of it, like the open bag of flour and some of the packages of sausages; but we were given the number of a local women' shelter and I made a couple of runs over to their office yesterday morning. We would have given them more (like more of the boxes of frozen bread dough) but they said they didn't have enough refrigeration space.

I envy you, Eduardo. I don't have a '51 Flighter; not that I need another Parker, but still ... a '51 Flighter. Colour me green. ;)
