I also own a 21, 45, and 1947 "51" Vacumatic, but I strangely like my one dollar fake, maybe because I love bargains and I can't believe I paid only one dollar, including postage from China.

 

My ink is also a super bargain. Violet Raduga Russian ink that I bought for around 70 cents a bottle on a visit to Moscow (you can pay 10 times more than that on Ebay).

Using this Sonnet, 'Subtle big red', a medium nib, which writes fine/medium on good paper, and ordinary Cross brand black ink.

Parker 65 flighter GT with Parker Quink black. The pen has one of my smoothest English Parker nibs.
