What Parker Are You Using This Day?

Right now the only Parker on my desk is a Jotter BP.

Later this week I'm hoping to receive a 180 that I bought on eBay. I'm looking to you for ink recommendations. Something Penman Sapphire-like in appearance, but that will work without problems in the 180. Any ideas?

You might look into J. Herbin's Éclat de Saphir, I've used it in an aerometric filler without a problem. P.W. Akkerman's inks are also a possibility; Anderson Pens carries their line in CONUS.

Thank you for the suggestion. I've got a pack of samples coming from Goulet, and I'm pretty sure the J. Herbin is one of the samples, so that worked out great. :)

Picked it up for two bucks along with a Sheaffer School pen for a buck.

Trying your suggestion of Éclat de Saphir now. That's a nice shade of blue. I'll also try out Akkerman's. From the pics posted on the Anderson Pens site and reviews elsewhere on FPN, it looks like Akkerman Blauw might be closer to what I'm looking for.

Thanks again.

Peace and Love indeed, Brah. Good fortune for you today. Enjoy.

My stainless steel Parker Sonnet - I found it along with the ballpoint in its original gift box - I lifted the removable section in the box and found a blue cartridge from days gone by, cleaned the pen and nib popped in the cartridge and with a lot of coaxing away it went and has been flowing quite nicely for notes as I have been working today. I don't want to wear out my Montblanc so I have put it away and kept using the Parker.
