My everyday work pens: two English Duofold Demis (Diamine Classic Red and Denim) and a Duofold Senior with Diamine Chocolate Brown. Utterly reliable, robust pens.

Aah ! Those third generation English Duofold (Demi or Slimfolds). They are lovely. They are my favrite pens. The nibs on these little queens are smooth as butterfly. jhonmc2 , are your English Duofold demis aero fillers?

1939 Canadian Victory in green geometric celluloid with a medium broad nib that shows nice line variation. It has almost no discoloration in the barrel and, except for the ossified sac, the internal parts are in very good shape. In less than a week it has gone through two fills with Shin-ryoku while I graded drafts of student work and it is a delightful writer.

Yes, I think they were only available as aeros, the model being introduced in 1953 and discontinued in 1958.

I like the demi because it is short enough to fit into a business shirt breast pocket, but is still a chunky pen and, when posted, is a perfect size for my hand. Juniors, Slimfolds and Victories I find a little slender. Last year I was lucky enough to find a mint Maxima.

Cheers

John

I have been using this nice demi recently.

Lucky you. 51 Signet and demi ! Hard found really. And a very good condition too. Enjoy.

Too many for sure, but my latest fav is a a former Parker 61 Parts' pen....

Once flushed and polished it came to life and has been a pleasure to use at my desk and of course an occasional carry.

It is in Turquoise with a Silver Rainbow Cap ... as sometimes can be found the silver arrow is lost

and & may install one some day.

Today is an all Parker day. These two, and the Duette is a great little pen. What may appear to be a stain running under the clip is actually the inner cap showing through a nice translucent cap.

I'll be using my P51 T7 Dove Grey Vacumatic today. Its extra fine nib and the slip cap are great for underlining while reading/editing. <3
