From my small collection of one '51', the Mont Blanc ink seems to suit it very well.

It's the same thing every day.

Why? Because these are my favorites. :)

My all time everyday pen: Black Parker Sonnet with fine nib.

I am also using a Gold Parker 75 with a extra fine nib.

I have two Parker 51s and a Parker 180.

The only non-Parker on my desk is a Pilot with medium nib... and a Montblanc Meisterstuck Classique ballpoint black.

Use this very often, a 'Frontier', a plain, utterly reliable medium line writer.

I am using two Parkers today; These two are ones that I just finished refurbishing about 1 week ago; 1) A Green Parker Vacumatic - Broad Nib - Ca; 1945 made in the 4th 1/4. It has a hint of flex and will be going of for sale soon..... 2) A Black Parker 51 - Fine nib - With a Sterling Silver Cap - Ca; 1948 made in the 4th 1/4......It also will be going up for sale soon!

Last week I found a very cheap offer of a brand new stainless steel Parker Jotter set. (Fountain pen + ballpoint pen + a small pouch that can hold the both of them.) I couldn't resist...

It seems that my Jotter doesn't exhibit any of the problems mentioned in reviews. (I found a few reviews of the Jotter on Youtube and on FPN as well and was quite unimpressed.) Mine writes smoothly, doesn't skip and has a nice feel to it. Okay, it's obviously not a luxury pen, but I find it more than convenient for everyday use. The stainless steel body still has a nice, elegant feeling to it.

English made Parker 17 aerometric, burgundy with a nice medium nib. Inked with Visconti Burgundy. Writing some get well cards, thank you notes and a letter to a pen pal. Very enjoyable writing!

Using the teal Parker 51, ca '53, and really loving how smooth it writes. This one just floats across the paper. I just wish the line were a little finer.

I am using my Parker Sonnet.

I just inked it with my Parker Quink black (I know that some people think that Quink is not a good ink, but it works just fine for me.)
