Just retired my 51 for a while and inked up my Duofold 18K - m which I bought when they were first re-introduced. It's been a while and I forgot how smooth it is.

 

I forget - did they make a 14K nib?

Duofold in red. Medium flexy nib filled with blue/black Quink. Smooth writer.

Duofold Centennial, Jade Green , BB nib, filled with Diamine umber...nib is a little scratchy compared with a Pelikan 200 Italic, the other pen currently inked, which is filled with Private Reserve Velvet Black. Makes me wonder how much ink choice affects subjective feel of nib...
