Today, just an Urban Cool Magenta CT, but I ordered a new Sonnet Pink Gold. Will go to my collection, and probably rarely will be on use...

I was given a Parker IM in Gunmetal as a Christmas present. I've never been a fan of Parkers (except the ones my father had when I was a child) as I've found their quality to be poor. However, this IM in Gunmetal is a lovely looking pen and filled with Iroshizuku Yama Budo it's writing with perfection. I'm not on the Parker bandwagon yet, but this pen is a keeper.

I'm currently using three with regularity:

  1. 1926 Lady Duofold (Ringtop, orange)
  2. 1947 "51" Demi Vacumatic (Dove Gray)
  3. 1948 "51" Vacumatic (Cedar Blue)

Just my regulars for today:

Urban Cool Magenta CT, with Quink Black (which is hardly black, closer to dark gray)

Urban Muted Black GT, with J. Herbin Eclat de Saphir

But, I wondered my Sonnet Pink Gold CT's beauty for a while.... actually I not planning to use that one... its just looks so good.... instead of it, using my Red Lacquer GT, I love it, its write so smooth, much better then Urban, but I like their shape.

the only Parker on my desk today is an Athens pattern Insignia pencil.

And the end of all our exploring

Will be to arrive where we started

Sonnet, black with chrome trim, 18K extra fine nib, rhodium color. The best one of these pens I have found.

Midnight blue 51, medium, aerometric, Lustraloy cap. Doesn't like to associate with the likes of Sonnets.

All of my Urban's. Also, I brought an another Sonnet: a Matte Black GT with fine nib. But its more important what happened today. I had a dinner with my friend, and after that I gave my signature for a payment bill, she asked, that she could try it out my pen (usually I carry one of my Urban for everyday usage). Told, why not, just be careful about the pressure... well, she liked it very much... now she's thinking about a fountain pen..... I think I have contagious fountain pen addiction, so be careful with me...

45 Flighter.

I also have a 21, which I will be trying to exchange for something else as I don't enjoy using it.

And I have a Stainless Steel Frontier which I don't use at all and am giving it away in the Pay It Forward 2014 thread if anyone is interested (only shipping it to India).

Today, after a long time, I filled with (Qu)ink the Frontier flighter GT...

Does anybody know whether the plastic under the rubber layer of the gripping section (which peels off) is hard to scratch? Or it is soft plastic which is easily to be scratched? I just wonder how the section will looks when all rubber layer will be gone...

Sonnet Terracotta, with a small dent in the barrel. Fine two tone nib and Sheaffer's blue-black. In a way it is a Sheaffer day.
