'92 Duofold Centennial, marbled maroon with my initials monogrammed on the finial—I was feeling my oats at the time.

This morning it was my only non-English made Parker Vector (the multi-color one that looks like a Mondrian painting), F nib, sporting FPN member Pharmacist's Darkening Absinthe IG ink. Well, until I ran out of ink and had to finish my journal entry for the day with the Korean made "Pilot", EF (or possibly even EEF nib!) and whatever turquoise ink started flushing out of the pen when I went to check it out.

Ironically, I think I paid more for the Vector....

Still my Parker Victory Mk 1.

On Wednesday evening, I thought it had finally finished its fill of Poussiere de Lune, but after I had depressed the button once and let the sack fill with distilled water, I thought I'd just try to see whether I could still write.

Sure enough, the Poussiere de Lune, which had disappointed me by looking black in this pen, is now a dark, dusky purple!

I'm surprised to discover that a pen can be wet enough that one needs to dilute a J Herbin ink to see its color.

Have this P45 inked today. It's a 1960's Flighter GT, right?

Made in UK III I...so we're talking 1994 for the cap.

Ebay Frankenpen.

Nice writer though. :)

Early P45 flighters with black barrel end piece came only in CT version. So, the GT cap and section ring suggest it is a frankenpen. Is the nib 10/14k gold?

I have had a couple of these pens, one I bought brand new in 1970. Mine were USA made.

The 45 line lasted for a loong time. It's amazing to know that 45s were made up till '07.

You have me beat there, pajaro! I sort of bought my first 45, brand new, in 1980. It was a Harlequin Grey Shield...so I guess it was technically an 80. Still have it. Still use it.

Yes it is amazing. Though I don't recall seeing many 45's on display, here in the UK, in the 2000's.

Duofold international, medium nib, noodler's black ink. Pen made in Newhaven, jade acrylic. Good pen, but I like my duofold centennial in jasper red more, simply because the larger size feels better in my hand.

Today I'm using a beautiful gray/gold Parker 61 Custom with capillary filler. I just love the way that gold arrow at the nib matches the gold cap.

I was lucky to get it on eBay recently. I had actually enjoyed the cleaning process of my previous 61 Flighter, and was surprised when this one was cleaned out and working perfectly in a few minutes!

Another 1952 English 51 the size of whose nib tip looks to a huge 3Bs. Love writing with it.

Parker Duofold Lapis Blue. I try to rotate a different daily writer each week. I've had this pen for about six weeks now and I can't break away from it. The nib has a decent amount of flex and I love the color. The seller called it a Senior and dated it to the 1930s. I'm not so sure if it is truly a senior as it is smaller than my 1920s 'Big Red' and I honestly have not done enough research yet to date it.

Today it was a couple of Parker Vectors (both with F nibs). The yellow (Aztec yellow color) one is filled with Noodler's Park Red in it and the pink one is currently sporting Blackstone Barrister Blue.
