Two 51 Aero Demis, burgundy and midnight blue, with Pelikan black. The Demi size has a happier relation with the depth of my shirt pockets than the full-size 51. So I shall have to work out some way of thinking about pockets that will encourage me to use all my 51s.

Today I have inked a trio of English aero Duofold Juniors - a black, a blue and a red. All three have flexible broad nibs. Lately I have been enjoying using Parker English wet juicy nibs.

A Parker 45, havent used one in years and had forgetten how good the nib design was, could take in apart in a minute. The broad nib is superb too, hint of a stub.

Restored a 1958 Duofold today which was undamaged but in a shocking condition on the bodywork, so easy to polish back to perfection.

I'm using my first Parker fountain pen (unless I had one in high school or some other distant time)! It is a Sonnet that I won on a PIF right here on FPN last week. The benefactor was Pajaro. It turns out my only Parker "wannabe" pen, a Baoer 388, appears coincidentally to have a lot of resemblance to this Parker.

I neglected to write down the ink: Noodler's Navy.

Thanks again to Pajaro and I'm a newbie all over!

Is it a co-incidence, Edwardo? I am using my dark grey VS with gold cap, gold washed clutch ring and gold button assembly. Also inked are a B nibbed 75, a M nibbed Slimfold and a B stub nibbed Duofold AF.

Three 180s - Parker Quink blue-black, Pelikan 4001 brilliantgreen and Pelikan 4001 brilliantred.

I really like this double-nib M-XF.

Beautiful 180 trio. Your love for 180 seems to be ever growing. Why don't you try to collect all the finishes?

HAHA, I'm not that rich. I saw many finishes on the parkernet but actually there seem to be even more in reality. Yesterday, there was another one on Yahoo auctions. Beautiful. But I didn't go for it. It always leaves a broken heart to see it go away.

I have other pens which also want my affection, Parker 75, Sailor, Pilot, Platinum and MB, e.g. - not to forget some really nice Jinhao and WingSung.

But I am working on that "problem" with the missing finishes.

Good, but give it a thought to be a Specialist collector of 180s. That Waterman pouch is beautiful.

Parker Sonnet Firedance, red and black marbled, medium (cursive) italic. Cartridge filled, no drying out. I am happy I got this one to work right.

Today it was the two most recent acquisitions (new to me as of the Triangle Pen Show a few weeks ago):

Midnight Blue Parker 51 Aerometric, F(?) nib -- Lamy Pacific Blue

Navy Gray Parker 51 Aerometric (English made), OB nib -- R&K Alt Bordeaux

Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

Firedance is the only Sonnet of mine that writes beautifully for me too with no drying out. It came to me with a bent and twisted nib that I straightened. All I can say it is totally a different experience writing with this Sonnet of mine.
