Parker Duofold Senior (UK), M nib, inked with Quink Blue-Black (which is anything but blue-black, but who cares?).

Parker 15 flighter, 1983, extra fine. I picked this up only because it was cheap ($5). I collect older pens, so I was going to group it with some other inexpensive pens on ebay.

But I like this little French pen! I'm thinking of giving it a permanent spot in my purse, to replace a Varsity that writes too wide for notes in a small pad.

Using this '45' with it's fine nib, makes a change for me as the vast majority of my pens are 'M' or 'B'.

Sunday night is the time to get ready for the week ahead and careful thought goes into what pen to use...

Normally I like a smaller nib, but this week I decided to be bold!

My pick, A Parker 61, with A Rainbow cap and OB nib (might even be OBB measures 1.15 mm?).

I cleaned the capillary and topped it off with Pelikan Edelstein Jade.

Have a good week,

M

Today (so far) I am using my Parker 51 (burgundy with a dented cap--love it anyway). I have a Turquoise Parker 45 inked up at home for later.

Yes, She's a Brit.

I recognise the Brits just by having a look at their nibs. Lol.

Yes. In the photo looks like a different colour.

I would have called that Teal, no matter what -- if you look where the sun hits the barrel, it's definitely Teal, and not Midnight Blue. Of course it helps that my first 51 was a Teal Blue Aerometric (someday I'm gonna get my hands on a Midnight Blue Aero, but I suspect that it won't be cheap; who knew that Midnight Blue was a hard to find color? :o I mean, I have a Demi that's *PLUM* -- that was easier to get than Midnight Blue...).

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."
