Black P51 Aero/Lustraloy cap with a broad CI nib. The nib is nice & soft, making the modern Duofold italic nibs seem hard & unresponsive.

 

Ink is Diamine Imperial Purple.

I have an inexplicable liking for this pen. I like it even better than its mate, the Blue Ice.

 

I put the medium nib section back in it. It writes like a nice fine. The barrel color is warm, and the cap is pretty. It's just used enough to use without worry. I am happy to have it, but, if the seller had described the dent, I would have passed it up. The nib and section are worth the price alone, though.

Parker 51 plum Aerometric with diluted Diamine Denim (I didn't get the pen cleaned as quickly as I meant to , and that seemed to be a safer alternative to either letting the pen dry out entirely or refilling when there might be dried or drying ink in the pen).

I have a few too many pens inked up at the moment, but that is really the only thing from putting my 45 back into rotation -- there are some inks I want to try in it. Plus, I kinda miss using it. Just got the Vacumatic flushed out last week, and trying to decide if I should put something in it now (De Atramentis Rose might be nice) or wait till I can get a bottle -- or at least a sample -- of Wateman Mysterious Blue, which is what got put in it at DCSS after the diaphragm was replaced.

Today it was a navy blue Parker 45 pen, fine nib, with Parker Quink black ink, along with the matching 0.9 mm pencil.

Parker 75 Sterling Silver Cicele Flat Top, 66 Nib (medium), with Parker Quink Black. When I run out of black I'll get a dark blue.
