Pelikan M800 Ib - Ink Choice

Recommended Posts

Hi All

My Pelikan M800 with IB nib turned up to in the post! Bringing a very large smile to my face upon seeing the pen and nib!

Pure Class, Seduction and sultryness! (made up word/or spelt wrong) in a box!

My dilemma now is which ink do I use:

Aurora Black

or

J Herbin Perle Noire?

Anyone with any experience's of using these inks with M800 range?

Thanks

Hi

Why not just try both and then go with to one you like, someone else's choice might not be to your liking.

True I could ink the pen with both inks.

I know how these inks look like on paper as I have two Lamy Joy's inked with each ink.

Yes the final choice would be mine, the reason for asking was to save a little time and also get other people's experience who probably have a lot more experience than me who is a novice. Plus it is called a forum for a reason!

Cheers for your input Paul.

Dip both, then get more inks and dip all of them, then choose one, then fill the pen, then get another pen, go to beginning, do it again, you will end up with a collection of pens and inks, provided you still do not have them.

But above all: Enjoy pen and inks!

Thanks for that. I personally don't need to go through that process to buy a pen. I buy the pen for the pen and if I like it.

Plus you're suggestion which is greatly appreciated does not answer or shed any light on forum post.

Cheers

Perle Noire. Just because.

Thank you Berno, could I request that you share the experiences or views you have had that has led you to pick J Herbin Perle Noire?
