In the Victorian era pink was considered a manly colour, too strong and intense for women, and floral patterns were fairly commonplace in men's clothing. The gender associations have changed over time. Which suggests to me that they're not worth worrying about.

I have always loved flowers. I love paintings of them and like to paint them.

 

I grow roses, orchids and a few wildflowers.

 

Pink paint is a necessity, usually mixed as needed.

 

Pink ink I might find hard to read, but the same holds for other light colors.

Real men like pink because that's how they know their steak is cooked. Real men not only like flowers, they garden.

I've just discovered these inks and am pretty impressed with them. These colours are exclusive to their flower set, I think, which makes them quite a bit more expensive that the 100 in their normal colour swatch ...£60 for 10 x 30 ml for their Flower Collection, so £6 for 30 ml as opposed to £5:90 for 80ml. That makes them quite exclusive.
