Pilot Replacement Nib Question

Recommended Posts

I am looking for some help regarding Pilot replacement nibs. I have a 742 custom I got with the FA #10 nib. I really liked the nib and I was going to have it sent off to grind it down to a finer point. I left it wrapped up on my desk ready to box up and ship out after work. But before I go back home someone apparently mistook it for trash and out with the garbage it went. I have been trying to find out if it is possible to buy a replacement nib only or not. So far it seems I would have to buy a whole new pen. Any info would be great, or anyone that might have an FA nib they care to sell.

Thanks.

same question, I need the feed as well, put up an ad in the classified but had no luck so far. I shoot Engeika an email earlier last week, they say pilot do not sell separate nib units or feed for FA... Currently trying to contact some nib meister to cut a feed section but haven't heard back from them yet

I suspect it will be cheaper to get a pen then to try and source the nibs. I know Engeika was selling nib units for the custom 74 for about the same price as then pen.

Hi,

You might be able to contact Pilot customer service, and they might be able to"repair" your pen as in provide a new feed or nib.
