Could Anyone Help Me With This Montegrappa Nib?

I have got a Montegrappa fountain pen several years ago. The model is espressione

, an old model with 18k gold nib.

However since I got this pen, I have had the ink flow problem with some ink brands.

I always want to figure it out why and want to see what is inside the nib section.

Yesterday, I screw the nib section down and after a short while, I have ruined it.

Like the other posts have mentioned that Montegrappa uses nibs from other nib suppliers like Bock, jowo, etc.

I have checked the original nib section of the espressione fountain pen and yes it looks really like some nibs from jowo or bock. But I have never had any chance to make a comparison to see if they can be used directly on Montegrappa pen.

Therefore, can any who have this knowledge please let me know which nib should I choose for the replacement ?

Actually, I don't want to order the same Montegrappa nib again, because it is quite expensive.

I don't care about the materials(steel nib is also ok) of the nib providing it can be used on the pen.

One of the reasons Montegrappa pens are so nice is that they use in-house ebonite feeders and the nib and feed are hand adjusted individually.

Odds are you can buy some screw in nib that will kinda work, but the pen will no longer be a Montegrappa.
