I read that FPH was going to have the ink, but I have not heard anything more about it.

I was at FPH this afternoon, and they had several bottles in stock. They sport the same label, except that it now mentions FPH instead of Art Brown. They also had Subway Series Sepia.

Thanks for the update.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

...and Adrienne from Art Brown now works at FPH. Art Brown had a larger store, so they could keep and display nearly every ink on the market. FPH has less space, so they carry fewer inks...but ine of them is Manhattan Blue. If you need a Noodlers ink that FPH does not usually carry, just call them and ask Adrienne to order it for you.

Wow, I had not known that Art Brown's closed! At least the online business continues. Manhattan Blue is a wonderful ink, and I'm very glad that FPH will be carrying it. And the Subway Series inks as well, I hope?

Why is it that when things change, it's so often for the worse?

Glad to hear that Manhattan Blue will continue. I have two unopened bottles left that I personally picked up when I was in mid town a year ago. glad I won't have to worry about where the next bottle comes from.

Thanks for the good news gentlemen.

I had read on the Art Brown auction thread a few weeks ago that FPH would start stocking Manhattan Blue so I was curious when they would finally get some. I also heard about Adrienne from Art Browns being hired by FPH in one of their emails. I'm glad FPH is trying to pick up where Art Brown left off and doing their best to fill the very large void they left in the NYC area fountain pen community when they closed.

As soon as these inks show up on their web site, I'll be submitting an order. I really like that Manhattan Blue label.

Cool !!!... But where is the Subway Sepia? :(

My thoughts, too. That's one Art Brown exclusive I wasn't able to get (I literally ordered Brooklyn Brawn a few days before the announcement of their closing, after having snagged Pinstripe Homage and Manhattan Blue a couple months earlier) and the one I'm most eager to see picked up somewhere.

ETA: Subway Series Sepia was out-of-stock at the time of my order.

I called and ordered two bottles. Very nice ink and could easily move to being one of my top 3 blues. I was hoping to have the Art Brown labeled bottles but I ended up with the FPH labeled bottles.

I attended the semi-annual FPH expo yesterday and picked up a bottle of manhattan blue. Sepia, Hudson, Ellis island and blackest black all available too. (The metal falcon and stargazer were gravy.)

My ink order arrived frozen, due to the cold weather here. I let it for a few hours and all is fine.

I believe Fountain Pen Hospital are now carrying Manhattan Blue and the other Art Brown's exclusive inks.

Manhattan Blue is my favorite blue ink. I'm so happy that I was able to pick up a backup bottle at FPH when I was in NYC over Thanksgiving. Didn't think to look for any of the other former Art Brown exclusives, though.

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."
