Just saw this pen on eBay today. First example I've ever seen of an all-black Japanese fountain pen (including nib). Judging from the pictures, the nib looks to be a M and reminds me too much of the Preppy, otherwise I'd be tempted to buy it myself.

I know Sailor has had the Pro Gear Imperial Black out as a LE for the last year. It is a wonderful looking and performing pen.

 

I think Pilot also has an all black capless pen as well.

I have one of these black Platinums. I bought it from the late Dennis Bowden several years ago. The medium nib is a wonderfully smooth writer. But the pen is a bit on the thin side, somewhat thinner than a standard Targa but a bit thicker than a Slim Targa.
