So I bought a heritage 1912 and man, what a glorious pen! The nib is so soft and flex, the design is so elegant and the weight and feel of the pen is simply beautiful!

By far my best writing experience.

Disclaimer: never used a vintage flex nib before.

Glad you are enjoying the pen. Mine is very rarely out of rotation.

I bought mine a couple of months ago and I absolutely love it. I bought the F nib and it's very smooth.

Here it is a picture of it.

Writing with a ballpoint versus a fountain pen is like using microsoft word versus LaTex...it's just not the same...

This pen is by far my favourite MB daily writer.

I wonder what ink you guys prefer to use on it? I try to match my ink colours to meet the personality of my pens, this one I keep flushing every 2-3 days seems unable to decide

I'm using the De Atramentis Adular Blue a color that I discovered by chance and now is my favorite.

I also bought mine a few months back and inked up with Winter Glow red which was given during the purchase.

Beautiful pen all-around, and one of my favorites. I need to get an eighth grader over here to help me figure out how to upload a pic!

Is this pen limited to a large number?

I was looking to buy one and its still available for around 850$, which I thought is surprising considering its a limited edition,

The heritage 1912 is a special edition and not a limited edition.

That means they will continue making it for a while and then stop whenever they feel like doing so. They may have stopped making them already. However, it is not a "numbered" run.

Oh alright, thanks for the information.

The nib seems to be quite good making the pen unique in the current pens for sale!

Good to know the difference between limited and special editions, this clarifies a lot.

Mine is inked up with the 90th anniversary ink. I wanted to buy oyster grey but my boutique gave me a complimentary 90th anniversary bottle. The ink is almost the same, no?

I got my heritage with a B nib...I am kinda torn between keeping it or getting a M nib...I love the line variation but then I have to write a little bit bigger :/

I just got mine back a couple of weeks ago, reground from fine to a Japanese fine and I am thoroughly enjoying it.

The "soft" feel of the nib coupled with the visual differentiation (short and stubby, logo, clip, non cigar) plus innovative mechanism makes it a real winner in my books.

Form and function perfectly melded. Definitely my daily writer

I think the 90th anniversary is darker but more importantly it's permanent.
