A First Look At The Italix Captain's Commission.

I always found them very heavy for their size. They felt a bit like Jinhaos to me, but with vastly superior laquer. The best thing about them were the nib grinds. I was able to try a lot of different types without spending a fortune and the right footed oblique (a rare thing) was very good.

I have the Parson’s Essential and Churchman’s Prescriptor both quite enjoyed by me as a left handed writer despite the sharp grinds on the nibs.  Lucky you were able to locate and find the model you did they seem a lovely design and pen.

Rob Maguire (Plse call me "M or Mags" like my friends do...)I use a Tablet, Apple Pencil and a fountain pen. Targas, Sailor, MB, Visconti, Aurora, vintage Parkers, all wonderful.
