My recent addition is not a pen. It's a Pelikan anyway.

After receiving my first M800 two weeks ago (EF), I am now anxiously awaiting an OBB nib. That should transform my perfect daily writer at work into an extrovert journaling pen at night.

Cheers,

Pierre

Christof,

good things come to those who wait.

Will you be inking it,? because that nib looks like a dream. I love the feel of a Pelikan nibs :puddle:

My most recent addition is not a pen but indeed is a great addition to the flock. It is the not oft seen large green Pelikan pen stand.

It joins two large white and a blue bird as well as several smaller rests.

So cute xia~

This came yesterday -- from Russia with love -- or, at least, it arrived beautifully-packaged and in only six days from time of dispatch.

There has been one for sale on eBay recently and it is almost twice what I paid for this! I feel very fortunate. Nice, nice chap to deal with, too!

This pen will be inked within moments -- as soon as I finish posting this -- and I have swapped the nib with that from my 1950s 400 for its flexibility, for this new nib was rather firm.

I have the 18ct Gold clad version. Lovely pen and very good nib but, as you say, not up to the standard of my 400s.

Mine is an early Pelikan M400 Green stripe I found at an antique shop for $20! ...Without cap. The cap raises the whole purchase price by a bit (I found one on ebay, now waiting for me at home), but all considered it was still a great deal on a pen that had sat unattainably high on my list, maybe even grail level. Pictures to follow!

"Oh deer."

I have a P1 with and OB nib. Really nice nib, so I can imagine the OBB is even nicer.

Newest member of the flock: Pelikan 250 1992-1997 (only count the one that arrived, two more in mail ). Come with a monotone 14c B nib, which is very smooth. Got it from eBay at $62. It is a big sumgai, the nib itself could cost more than that.
