What's Your Most Recent Addition To The Flock?

Just got my first Pelikan to, er, mark my 20th birthday! Let's be real though, I would've found another justification either way.

New M400, green, F nib. Planned on starting vintage, but I found one for $180 from Japan.

I've really been enjoying it! I inked it up with Sailor Tokiwa-Matsu to start, and it's been delightful. No problems with the nib out of the box, and in fact it's exceeded my expectations in every way!

Hoping to find myself an old 140 next! Fingers crossed this doesn't become a dangerous addiction...

Happy birthday Immelmann! A lovely and capable friend that will be with you for a long long time! Keep your pen inked, always...(:

BTW, I would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and fruitful new year!

Here is my latest one, a 100N with a grey binde.

It has a broad nib with slight flex.

I don't know if it is a mixed up pen, because the "B" on the body, denoting the nib size , is green, which is not consistent with the grey binde.

Can the age be pinned down by the cap style, or other features?

Woah. That's a HUGE surprise. Congrats!

Thanks I was super happy and I now know what everyone means when they say "buttery smooth nib". Its a medium and I think I would be happier with a fine or eFine but I'm getting used to it.

Nice collection. The orange marbled M320 really jumps out at me, would be possible to post a picture just of that pen? Thanks.

A blue bird, and a couple vintage bottles:

The bottles and labels cleaned up well, though those labels (and the boxes) are fragile enough that they would not stand any more cleaning than they got, thank goodness for 'washable' blue ink. My dilemma is this:

Any suggestions on what I should replace those cap liners with? I intend to use these bottles for ink and there is just no way to get those old cap liners clean and I have no desire for Skrip Washable blue, or Permanent Blue Black.

Suggestions greatly appreciated.

The new one is the blue M605, second pen from the right. (The rhodium trim looks gold to my cell phone camera.)
