Hmm, not sure about if this would really be interesting. I remember 3 different types of 100N only, right?

Hi Christof, thank you for this nice overview! Together with your pictures that's a perfect reference for me.

Greetings,

Michael

I just bought an M205 on the Penchalet sale, which looks like your Pelikan above. It writes like a dream but its heft and length are even for my female hands a bit light. I also got the white.

This pen writes better than my best Montblancs, even the slimline that is my smoothest pen. If it were 10 percent wider and heavier, it would be perfect.

Look into getting one of the M215's. I have a M215 Rings and it is substantially heavier that my regular m2xx's. I don't mind the light Pelikans because I use them for seriously long writing sessions, but the m215 is a nice weight, if weight is an issue.

A little family portrait of my tortoise Pelikans... Most recent is the second one down; an 80's W Germany M400 that came to me last week. I don't think it will stop here, though... Anyway, for now here they are.

Sorry about the less than stellar photography (I really do need to make one of those home made light boxes). The blue one is a rich dark blue, it has a crack in the cap top. Other than that both pens are in good but not pristine condition. With the addition of these two I thought I was creeping up on a full collection, ... then I looked at Werner Ruttinger website and realized the 5 I have are less than 1/3rd of all the possible permutations! Ah well, I like the ones I have.

Thank you everyone! I hope they'll look good in real life too!
I'll post some photos of them when they are here :)

I recently bought a second Souveran M1000 (black).

Congrats!
I'm planning my first! Black with EF nib.

Pelikan M600 with 18C BB nib....I never knew modern nibs could be this flexible.

The Old Style M600 is not a 'Modern Nib' really, but more of an old style nib.

I have blue stripe M600 with an OM nib and it's one of my favourite nibs.

'Modern' Pelikan 18K nibs are like the nails in the M800.
