Beautiful collection, christof!

The pen is fully marked "PELIKAN 300" on the cap and "GÜNTHER WAGNER PELIKAN 300 EXPORT" on the barrel end.

 Can't wait to get mine and join the others I have. I really hope that Pelikan keeps this modern 101n thing going for awhile. It will be nice to have a set of them as part of a collection. It very pretty and looks great with that Hobinichi ; ;)

After a long busy day, I was ecstatic to see that my Pelikan 400NN Brown Tortoise was delivered today. It's a real stunner.

Edit: I had all this other stuff I wanted to say, but the post editor was being a real pain and I had to redo everything so I forgot. So, here we go. I'm super super happy with this pen so far. The piston was very stiff, but unscrewing the nib and applying a tiny bit of silicone grease was easy, quick, and totally fixed that problem. I have yet to ink it up, since I was so excited about then pen that I just had to take some photos and post them right away. I've been home less than an hour, still. The nib seems to have some flex to it. Can't wait to see how it writes!

Wonderful! Please, if you have the time, make a review for the pen. What ink would you use in it?

Congrats!

I see that there is a specific thread going about this pen with some review type comments in it - much to my relief my language isnt creative enough for me to do this pen justice in a review.

As to ink, well I am a bit of a collector so this one wont see ink for a while. I would think Diamine Burnt Sienna might not be a bad choice though.

My latest is a grey marbled M200... which look like a blue marbled in the pictures... :/

Just a question, which model (blue, green or grey marbled, any other variations of the marbled barrel?) was the most rare?

I've got a green 400NN with the striations slightly but evenly twisting in the binde. Gives it a unique look as well.

From all of my time and research, I've gathered that the post 1997 grey marbled is the rarest of the M200 marbled lot. It seems that they were only produced for a short time after the trim change prior to being discontinued.

Awww that's sad, mine's a pre-97 one (not the rarest then!). But I like the dome more on the pre-97, and it was NOS at a great price, so guess I can't complain.

Thanks Joshua! :D
