I'm excited, I just received a tracking number for my M600 Vibrant Green! Should be here next week.

That's awesome. Please do show some pictures after you get it. :) I really want that pen.

Can anyone post pix comparing the new Vibrant Green with Green O' Green? They both seem stunningly beautiful .....

I chose my user name years ago - I have no links to BBS pens (other than owning one!)

Mine is just a plain M150 black with grey cap.

Now to look for a 1xx demonstrator and a 140, that I can afford.

Don't say 'just' a plain M150. Those grey ones are hard to come by. I've only ever seen a handful for sale. If you have one, that's an awesome find.

The grey M150 is not easily photographed. It often comes out as black but is truly grey in person. That color was available in both pre and post '97 trim.

Well, I have the 215 but not the complete Works of Juan Carlos Onetti (sigh).

At least 55 euros each of the three volumes... The best investment I've ever done.

Here's a comparison with a 400 and 400NN.http://i1287.photobucket.com/albums/a629/Kevin_Keller/IMG_4006_zpsba9c7950.jpghttp://i1287.photobucket.com/albums/a629/Kevin_Keller/IMG_4007_zps002b3b2d.jpg

Congrats on the new pen.

From all the after war Pelikans I like the 300 most.

I have a black one in daily use.

Thanks christof! The 300 is a great postwar Pelikan, but my favorite goes to the 400NN in Tortoise. I always have it inked.

I can't say I have seen one of these before. How was it positioned in the market? Are the nibs the same as the 400s? And if not too rude a question may I ask what these go for?

Keyless Works, they are quite rare pens. They were made for Export and in smaller numbers than the others. I'm not certain, but it seems they were placed between the 140 and 400 models. They have the same 400 nibs, but I haven't tried switching the nib units between mine yet to see if the 300 nib unit is compatible with the 400. I've seen the go from between 300 and 425 USD. I got lucky with mine.

That's right. The 300 is the size of the 400 but the more common shape of the 140. And that's exactly what I like. The original price was between these two probably.

The nib units of the 300 are exactly the same as of the 400 and can be switched.

PS: Pelikan 300 can easly be mixed up of parts from Pelikan 140 and 400, but original 300 are stamped on cap band and barrel end.
