this one--an M101n in the lizard finish. i generally don't fancy small pens, but i couldn't resist this one, especially when it recently went on sale at nibs.com for $375:

Both gorgeous pens, but a personal question, out of the two which do you prefer to write with.

it's now on the road with me in hanoi, traveling with another smallish companion, the montblanc 100th anniversary historical:

^right now i'm liking the pelikan a bit more, because i stubbed it slightly (after this picture was taken) so it's giving me better shading and line variation.

Check out my blog and my pens

David, love your story and such a meaningful gift! Truly an example of pleasure of giving and receiving!

I was shopping for a M1000 and ended up getting this beauty at an awesome price....

I would love to hear that story! That is one of my absolute grail pens, but I think I would have to sell have my collection to procure one...

After checking a local auction site, I managed to pickup a brand new M101N in Lizard for half the cost when I saw it in a local shop earlier in the week :)

It's my first Pelikan with a B nib which is interesting, though I'm not convinced of my first ink choice (Pelikan Edelstein Amber) for it :(

The 3 M200s (1 pre-97 grey marble, x2 current model demonstrators) are new to me. The others are a current production M800, and 3 W.Germany marked pens (M400, M400 Tortoise, and M250).......Also I need to get in on some Broad nib action, all these are EF, F, or M.

From the Nuremberg Pen Show, I brought these pens to my home:

An impromptu buy: M200 in marbled grey, with an OM nib, new old stock for a correct price.

M800 Demonstrator (clear), with a M nib. Inked with Yama-Budo.

14k cursive italic 0.9 nib from Richard Binder to go with my M215 (blue). Love this combo. Inked with Kon-Peki.

Considering another specialty nib from RB for my other M215. Perhaps a stub.

A blue M200 (from a fellow FPN subscriber, to replace the one I lost last month), that appears to be a some sort of transitional design: the barrel is clearly from the dome-top era (no trim-ring at the fill-knob), but the cap is a crown-top.

Ohh there are so many beauties in this thread!

I love Pelikan and I'm the proud owner of a pre-97 M400, a non-transparent blue M605, two M215 (F nib and M nib), an M250 and an M150. My most recent addition was a cute little M320 and I love it! Yes, it's very tiny but I have small-ish hands so I can write with it comfortably even unposted. It has an M-nib, writes butter smooth and looks beautiful with Diamine Ancient Copper in it. Will post pic later, hope the friggin camera works this time.

Oh and I just ordered an M205 DUO green highlighter ... wanted one for a while and after I saw some pictures here ... well ...

I can finally call myself a Pelikan owner! My uncle gifted me his black M1000 with a medium nib today. I kinda feel like I'm in a dream, my girlfriend gifted me a Lamy 2000 last week and today a Pelikan M1000! That's 2 pens off my dream list.

My latest addition is a vintage leather zipper case that came to me all the way from Croatia (thanks to Sasa!):

A box of those wonderful thumbtacks made from one circle of metal and not only removable using the box, but instantly restored to the inside of the box.

Not as artsy as later pushpins, But what a tack!

Finally managed to beat the camera into submission. Couldn't find the edit button on my previous post, so had to put the pic into a new one.

Here you go, my pride and joy ... well, one of the prides and joys!

It seems to me, that is missing only ballpoint K 200 in old style in this color version.

That lead refill tube is pretty neat. I wonder if they still make those?
