Contradiction = Organics Studio Emily Dickinson. A shy and retiring person memorialized with an ink that is the BSB of pinks

new word: tornado -- there have been a lot of them recently in the US Midwest, plus I saw a story on the news this morning about the wedding photos in Saskatchewan (I think) with the twister in the background.

Tornado: Iroshizuku Kiri-same, which is one of my favourite greys. I don't think tornadoes would count as one of my favourite natural phenomena if I were to experience one. From a distance they look very impressive.

IMPRESSIVE: It's new to me and I have limited number of inks but I would say Iroshizuku Tsuki-yo, fast drying, shading, sheen, great color.

CONFUSION: Private Reserve Tanzanite. I'm confused, is it Blue or Purple? It may be more clear to other people's eyes, but to mine it seems to depend on the paper and lighting. I know it is purple, but in some situations I would mistake it for blue.

NEW WORD: Binary

Binary: Private Reserve Ebony Blue. I shift between periods of constant use of this ink and periods where I just can't seem to bring myself to use it. It's either on or off.

Design -- vintage Skrip Peacock Blue or J. Herbin Bleu Azure (there's been a discussion on another thread about blue inks not reproducing well in B&W photocopies, which made me think of the old non-repro blue pencils and BPs I used to use when I was doing commercial art back in the 1980s.

Okay, new word (well, theme): the 1980s

We have rules?

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Confession: Parker Quink Black. I'm pretty sure you have to got to confession if you admit to liking it. ;)

Trespass = Iroshihzuku Yama-budo. I would definitely consider trespass if there was no other way to get this ink (okay, I would consider armed robbery.... B) ).

New word (on account of Amber's query about having rules ): rules

    well what do you call it then if not a rule?

All games have rules, how else are we meant to know how to play them?

Badges - Diamine Sherwood Green. That was the dominant colour on the name badges for the last conference I attended.
