The Ink Association Game

(May I play?)

Forgotten: MB Royal Blue. I had forgotten how reliable this ink really is. I may finish the bottle after all.

New word: Memorable

(Of course! :Dhttp://i.imgur.com/JjxGfuM.gif)

Noodler's Aircorp Blue-Black. I'm being visited by memories of using this ink about a year ago to take notes, and how I liked the incredible subtlety of the underlying blue-green with the VP F nib. The smell, too.

Amnesia: Diamine Teal. I can't remember purchasing it, yet there it is on my desk--must have been on a binge.

Faint

Faint = J Herbin Bouquet d'Antan. Just the ink color for some Victorian melodrama heroine to use on a fainting couch.

New word: robust

Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

Robust: Iroshizuku Tsukushi, when I filled my pen with it today it reminded me of a robust cup of coffee.

Benevolent: Iroshizuku Yama Budo. I can't think of a more welcoming ink.

Malevolent

QSH - That ink is just evil and I so wanted to like it.

New Word

Malificent (as in Disney)

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

Maleficent: PR Ebony Green - it reminds me of the dark black-green colours that dominated the scenes in early Disney movies when the villian was being introduced.

New word: Candy

You've got me puzzling now Amber. What does QSH stand for? For the life of me I can't come up with which ink it might be.

I don't know why, but when I think of candy, I think of pink.

So Monteverde Pink (looks like bubble gum)

Honorable: Noodler's KTC, the most ancient and honorable of inks.
