The Ink Association Game

Laughter: Diamine Hope Pink. I have this in a a very masculine and unassuming pen. People usually laugh when they see this bright, girly ink coming from it.

Love it! I have an employee (late 40's male) who uses a Charcoal Lamy Al-Star. He asked me for some ink as an alternative to his J. Herbin Bleu Nuit. I've given him some Visconti Purple and he's looking forward to seeing how clients react when he writes with it.

Word is still inexorable.

Probably Polar Black ... it doesn't fade ... it doesn't wash away. It just keeps going like the infamous bunny.

Zip: Iroshizuku Kon-peki - when I'm forced to use blue for official forms and such I choose this ink because it has a little zip and character.

Temptation: Iroshizuku Chiku Rin. It looks really tempting, but I'm not sure if I'd enjoy using it enough to warrant getting a whole bottle.

New word: favourite teacher (when you were a kid, or maybe even grown up....)

ETA: now that's a very pink ink there Amber!

Oooh... Favourite teacher! I like that one! My favourite teacher always grades/writes/signs things in anything but blue, but his current favourite is green. He is especially fond of my Diamine Umber.

BAMBOOZLED = Pilot Iroshizuku Chiku-rin, because it is 'Bamboo Forest' and Bamboo =~ Bamboozled, and because I want to use it but am bamboozled as to where to use such a pale colour.

GAMBLING

I am no longer very active on FPN but feel free to message me. Or send me a postal letter!

Gambling - Midway Blue

Because professional gamblers work for the house and the odds are in the houses favor - ALWAYS - and because the battle at Midway was a gamble, but now we don't think so.

Incredulous - De Atramentis Blue Steel because I was incredulous at how saturated it is, how similar in name it is to my favorite ink, and because I was Incredulous to find I "needed" this ink.

Shocked = Organics Studio Emily Dickinson. Because I'm shocked by the concept that a pink that bright could be used to represent someone as retiring as the real Emily Dickinson supposedly was.

Hmmm. Now I have to think of a word, don't I. Well, since we're talking _Casablanca_, and since I've been reading a thread about repairing pens, the new word is:

celluloid

Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

Celluloid: J. Herbin Rouge Opera. I think of celluloid, and I think of Roger Rabbit. For some reason, Rouge Opera is the colour that then comes to mind.
