Diamine Wild Strawberry. Nothing really went with vanilla. I guess the next priority flavor for me after vanilla is strawberry?

THRESHOLD

Threshold = Noodler's North African Violet. It was the the ink that pushed me out of the Quink blue cartridge syndrome, and going over that threshold eventually landed me here....

New word: pronto

Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

Okay... well, since you asked, Noodler's Judicial Black.

But, my dad was a judge for 16 years and these were his campaign colors:

And to turn the table back ... my father got in trouble for playing Jail House Rock to the inmates. New word: Jail

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Ending: Diamine Twilight

New word: science fiction

I gotta try out those deeper blue-blacks...

Sailor Nano-Black. The silvery sheen on the page? The teeny tiny carbon particles and little conical inkwell inside? The only ink bottle that I have that's just something more than a repository. Way ahead of my other inks in advancement, I think, even if the inkwell is frustrating with larger nibs

EXPENSIVE

Expensive can currently only apply to any bottle in Caran d'Ache's new Chromatics range.

Stained glass window: Diamine Poppy Red - the grad student commons at my university has beautiful stained glass windows, and the afternoon sun hits one particular red patch in the afternoon making it glow with this brilliant shade of red.

New word: Friend

Friend - Dromgoole's Blue Steel because a friend gave me a bottle and I have given bottles to other friends because it is the most friendly ink I own.

Noodler's Baystate Blue. Looks beautiful, but can be deadly for the uninitiated.

Frustration: J. Herbin Larmes de Cassis. I loaded a pen with it this morning and started to write a thank you letter. Just as I finished writing the letter a very large blob of ink spewed forth from my pen and necessitated a hasty rewrite. That was frustrating.

Circus is still throwing me....

I have a book of circus posters in front of me. They all have red, and most have elephants. I just can't channel my inky thought.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Oh dear. I had been wondering if I should offer to change the word before it sinks the thread without it having reached Titanic dimensions.

So, I'll take the circus back, and instead take a circus related term.

New word: magician

Nope I got it.

Pelikan Blue to go with the Pelikan Picadilly Circus Pen or the Montegrappa Elephant Pen.

Wow! You're a magician! And if that Montegrappa didn't have such an ugly cap I would be tempted to start saving to get one, I like the barrel and love the blue button, or tailpiece, or whatever the correct term is... blind cap (that isn't a cap?)?

Okay, I'm resisting the temptation to pick an ink that matches Blinky? Inky? (What's the name of your avi again Amberlea?)

Magician: for some reason Diamine Grape, a nice deep purple.

Herm.... new word...

New word: treasure chest
