New word: Reconnect

 

Waterman Florida Blue. I had used a fountain pen at primary school (still have it -- a Berlacq, I think) and during college (Parker 95 -- thanks, mom and dad!). Then several years passed where I would type, or use a ballpoint pen. In September 2008, I decided to buy a new pen: a Waterman Expert II and with it, a bottle of Florida Blue ink. It was so nice to be using fountain pens and liquid ink again!

 

New word: memories

journaling / tinkering with pens / sailing / photography / software development

Never used Peacock Blue - does that mean I can play this game? :(

 

Ziggurat: made of clay stone so any dusty brown; I like Diamine Golden Brown

 

New word: RAID (because I am rebuilding a RAID disk array, but feel free to substitute the more common meaning).

Diamine Chocolate Brown - my only brown ink. I've always associated brown/red with Thanksgiving, and Chocolate Brown is a rich color in that vein.

Prime of the Commons. Gladstone and Disraeli on the label, a couple of luminaries, and the ink itself has the luminescence of dark night illuminated by the moon.

Since we were on the topics of Luminaries and drunken politics... I had to bring up my Dad's hero: Winston Churchill.
