Unforgettable-red dragon. I sign all my paperwork with it because it looks like I am signing in blood.

New word: Reconnect

Waterman Florida Blue. I had used a fountain pen at primary school (still have it -- a Berlacq, I think) and during college (Parker 95 -- thanks, mom and dad!). Then several years passed where I would type, or use a ballpoint pen. In September 2008, I decided to buy a new pen: a Waterman Expert II and with it, a bottle of Florida Blue ink. It was so nice to be using fountain pens and liquid ink again!

New word: memories

journaling / tinkering with pens / sailing / photography / software development

Memories: Skrip Peacock Blue - almost everyone has memories of using this ink.

New Word: ziggurat

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

Never used Peacock Blue - does that mean I can play this game? :(

Ziggurat: made of clay stone so any dusty brown; I like Diamine Golden Brown

New word: RAID (because I am rebuilding a RAID disk array, but feel free to substitute the more common meaning).

I am no longer very active on FPN but feel free to message me. Or send me a postal letter!

Distant: KTC

Because it is made from an ink stone that is distant in time and place from me, and it will still be legible in the distant future.

Diamine Chocolate Brown - my only brown ink. I've always associated brown/red with Thanksgiving, and Chocolate Brown is a rich color in that vein.

Longing: J. Herbin Poussiere de Lune. The formula appears to have changed recently, and I long for the colour of my old bottle of this ink.

Luminary?

Prime of the Commons. Gladstone and Disraeli on the label, a couple of luminaries, and the ink itself has the luminescence of dark night illuminated by the moon.

New word: INEBRIATED.

Since we were on the topics of Luminaries and drunken politics... I had to bring up my Dad's hero: Winston Churchill.

So: Onoto Ink - Churchill Pinstripe. Oh and here's the FPN topic about it.
