The Ink Association Game

Contemplating: MB Albert Einstein. This is the ink I'm currently using as I plot and plan my attack on my latest data analysis and manuscript revisions.

New word: Lucky

Any red colour, really, as it is supposed to be lucky in China, but I will go for Graf von Faber-Castell Garnet Red just because it is new and the next one for me to test.

Fanciful.

I am no longer very active on FPN but feel free to message me. Or send me a postal letter!

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

New Word: lugubrious

Possibly cheating, but nothing matches that so well as one of those dismal, joyless, faded black ballpoint inks with which we are all so familiar. It doesn't even matter which one, but say a black disposable Bic ballpoint.

If not acceptable, ignore. If accepted, then new word, cartoon.

Noodler's dragon catfish orange

New word plethora

Pilot Blue - came with my 823, completing a whopping 10 bottles of blue ink (a number that's at least half of my inks if not a little more), none of which I particularly like or love. :glare: Diamine Asa Blue is next for me to get.

J. Herbin Perle Noir for neglected as I haven't been writing business correspondence lately so it's gathered a bit of dust.

Slanted = any of the Caran d'Ache Chromatics with the slanted bottom; I pick Ultra Violet because it is my favourite.

New word: precious.

Precious = Vintage Quink Violet, because I have an 8 oz., probably never opened bottle I scored on Ebay a while back. Seller called it "museum quality"; I call it "a bargain", but I haven't opened it yet because I have too many modern ink samples to go through at the moment (plus I really need something smaller to decant it into -- I have too many bad memories of what a broken 4-1/2 oz. bottle of Noodler's Kung Te Cheng looked like on my bathroom floor...).

New word: nervewracking (just watched an Ebay auction countdown at the moment in another window; BTW -- I HATE snipers...).

Diamine Chocolate Brown. My only brown ink, a color that seems to recall antiquity, if I'm so inclined to see it.

Desolation: My favourite bottle of J. Herbin Poussiere de Lune - it's almost completely empty and dry. The new bottle I ordered doesn't appear to be the same colour exactly.

Provocative

Sorry, I just ran off to Goulet's Swab Shop for this one... Monteverde Pink should provoke a few reactions from most people. Such a pale pink colour.

I think it must be Aurora Blue, because no matter how many bottles I buy, Aurora blue is the ink I have given to pen lovers.
